CHURCH
IMPROVEMENT FUND:
On Sabbath, April 18, 2015, we launched the
“Church Improvement Fund “ (CIF). By God’s power,
through our sacrificial giving and sale of a
property, we have a goal to raise
$500,000 to enable
us to do the following, most important tasks:

Refurbish sanctuary ceiling. Replace acoustical
tiles with v-joint cypress wood.

Purchase new air-condition units and install
them the same time when replacing ceiling.

Refurbish and remodel much-needed baptismal pool
to facilitate easy access and functionality.

Redesign foyer to facilitate special needs,
safety, and security.
-
Redesign and relocate media room to a new area
above the foyer to be more effective and to meet
professional standards.

Fence in properties.
-
Regulate ownership of six properties.

Purchase new organ
How will we raise these funds?
(1) By the sacrificial giving of members each
week/month out of one’s regular income. (2) One
can have an “investment” project to sell fruits or
vegetables out of one’s garden. (3) Another can
collect coins or pick them up off the streets. (4)
One can bake bread or cakes for sale. The ideas are
limitless. Note that whatever we give does not
replace the regular tithe and offerings we give.
The offerings are used to run the regular operations
of the church (pay electricity, buy toilet tissues
and quarterlies, etc.) (5) Also sale of the West
Ridge property will yield a healthy sum towards this
project.
When will this project start?
The goal is to refurbish the ceiling and install the
air condition while the joint evangelistic series in
going on during the months of September and October
this year. The other projects will follow.
